"Simply Music" is a board game that is designed to help amateur musicians of all ages, from 7 years upwards, to improve their reading and understanding of music, and above all, to discover that learning music is fun! The game is for 2 to 6 players and requires one non-player to ask the questions, these being written in such a way that the questioner needs no musical knowledge, so it is ideal for parents wishing to help their children. (Don't worry, the answers are there too!). There are 2 sets of questions which can be used separately or together giving players of different ability an equal chance of winning.

Level 1 is approximately grades 1/2 and covers:- Note reading in treble and bass clefs Recognition of sharps, flats and naturals Note values Understanding time signatures Recognition of time signatures from musical examples Italian terms Level 2 is approximately grades 3/4 and covers:- Understanding sharps, flats, naturals, double sharps and double flats Recognition of intervals Knowledge of major and minor keys Italian terms Famous music Names of composers
